Hot Car of 1956
05/19/2010
My cousin is a sports car enthusiast whose life revolves around in buying and upgrading cars—showing them off during car exhibits in hotel lobbies. His latest baby— a fast, sophisticated 1956 two-seat convertible car complete with a GPS and a back up camera. The transformation was drastic considering its humble beginnings. Two months ago the car was almost sold to a shop known as “The Destroyer”. But instead went into the hands of my cousin and brought it to antique car restoration Tampa FL for a new a look.
Restoring an old car as I found out later—must take the special skills of highly trained and knowledgeable professional auto restorers. His other cars were also brought in at paint shop in Tampa once every two years for a flashier look. This is the only company he trusted and been together for ten years. All his sports car were all covered by insurance but as a result of the company’s low overhead—the automobile is easily fixed for less and even guaranteed an auto body work.
Being relatively known in the sports car world— people would come and see his latest innovation. There would be yelling and clapping and my cousin is more than proud to create new stuff that puts a smile on people’s faces.
