Evening Dinner with Retractable Awnings
11/16/2010
My friend was hosting a garden dinner then. It was a thanksgiving celebration after he passed and graduated a baccalaureate degree in college. So as his closest girl friend, he asked me to help him with it. I asked him for a possible estimate for the number of people for the dinner party. It was intended for his closest friends and family and listed only thirty guests. It was a fine dining dinner. I suggested that we set up retractable awnings. Then we had the tables set up too for fine dining. Each table was accentuated with candle lights and flowers as centerpieces. It had a blue theme.
The place and the drama of the lights looked great. The flickering candles made the place glow. For the bar and the buffet table, we also did set up canopies for it. With the decorations I made and the extra help we got from the makers of the awnings, the place looked really lovely. My friend told me, that when he entered the garden, the sight took his breath away. I’m glad all the guests appreciated the place too.
